My favorite thing to feature DITHOT is an early scene in The Thin Man Goes Home where Nick Charles is mixing it up with other songs. “Goodbye mama, I’m off to Yokohama - DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS”

As the entropy increases exponentially about then locus at Point A here, you’ll note a convergence of moving bodies that continues to grow despite a lack of outside energy sources and, at least upon initial observation, devoid of all internal friction sources, thus proving the long-held theorem that there ain’t no party like an LA party because an LA party don’t stop.

I think there’s another Far Side - can’t seem to find it now - with a guy detailing in a diagram how the music goes around and around “and it comes out here”.
It’s definitely in a Looney Tunes gag - when Elmer Fudd is the conductor for
Corny Concerto.
